The training will be in two parts. The first and major part will be available to all users, whether Defence, other Government agencies or Industry. This portion will run from 1100 to 1330. A second portion, anticipated to be run from 1400 to 1430 will be for Defence staff only. A light lunch will be provided.
The combined part of the course will cover the following topics.
Capability Taxonomy, how it works
Recording Organisations on the ePortal,
Searching on capabilities or organisations,
Use of the Industry Feedback,
The Bulletin Board,
Reports available on the ePortal,
Global Supply Chains; and
Exporting and the Defence Export Unit.
Who should attend?
Any person in the local SPOs, DSG or other parts of Defence involved in procurement.
Any person(s) in organisations that are already registered on the ePortal.
Any person(s) in organisation not currently on the ePortal and who desire to know more.
Members of local government (state and municipal) who may be interested in using the ePortal and its reports.
