Productivity Placements Program

The Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DFEEST) will shortly be callaing for tenders for the third round of funding (2010 funding) for the Productivity Places for Existing Workers in SA. The funding will be available to train Existing Workers in Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications.

Organisations that can submit applications on behalf of South Australian Existing Workers include:

  • employers and enterprises
  • industry bodies and associations
  • employee/employer groups
  • RTOs and/or other organisations with a role in workforce development.

Seaford Rail Extension Breakfast Presentation


The Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure is holding a breakfast outlining opportunities for local employment and industry participation in the Seaford Rail Extension.

South Australia Innovation and Investment Fund (SAIIF) Industry Development Program


Call for Round 3 applications and notice of information sessions
 
 
The SAIIF Industry Development Program is a $30 million discretionary grant program for innovative projects which will create sustainable new jobs in South Australia.
The program's aim is to strengthen South Australia's manufacturing and technology base.

Projects must be a $500,000-plus investment in eligible expenditure and the program will fund up to 50% of eligible expenditure. Applicants must be able to show ability to fund their share of the project.

The maximum grant available will be $5 million.

Round 3 of SAIIF is now open and applications will close on Friday 10 September 2010, 5pm.
